Welcome to VAIRAM – 2025, dedicated to exploring the current and future states of India’s lab-grown diamond industry. The event is designed to hear from the LGD industry professionals and to identify the challenges faced by the Indian industries. Through a series of expert panel and open discussions, we will examine the advancements, challenges, and potential of the lab-grown diamond sector in India.

As India positions itself as a global player in the lab-grown diamond market, this workshop will serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, addressing industry-wide obstacles, and showcasing our centre’s research facilities and expertise. We had been to see a live concert of Amit Trivedi music band inside the campus .Good atmosphere, food court was availability .Parking was having a bit confusion as we were not allowed to park inside the campus.Shuttle bus for pickup and drop from the car parking area was available. More or less neatly co ordinated event.Thankyou

The campus is huge and covered with trees at most places thereby reducing the temperature by Atleast 4-5 degrees compared to the city. You would see deers moving around freely. Strict limit on vehicle speed.

Living at the IIT Madras campus for a month was an unforgettable experience. The lush green surroundings and expansive campus provided an environment that felt both serene and vibrant. The sheer size of the campus, combined with its rich biodiversity—including the famous deer population—gave it a unique charm.The academic atmosphere was palpable, with brilliant minds engaged in research and learning, fostering an environment of intellectual growth. The infrastructure was top-notch, from state-of-the-art labs and libraries to recreational facilities that kept me active and engaged.One of the best aspects of the experience was the sense of community. The students, faculty, and staff were all welcoming, making it easy to settle in despite being there for a short period. The hostel life was enjoyable, offering not just comfort but a chance to connect with people from different backgrounds.The food at the mess was diverse and catered to a variety of tastes, ensuring I never felt out of place. Additionally, the extracurricular opportunities, including cultural and tech fests, added a dynamic flavor to the stay.Overall, the month I spent at IIT Madras left me with lasting memories of a holistic experience that blended academics, nature, and community living beautifully.

One of the best college and dream college for many. Very big campus. Nicely developed and well maintained. It's good to see that they care about the wildlife sanctuary. Washroom and shops are there at the right places.
